Electrical Portion of Ignition Switch May Become Erratic or Fail Completely on Porsche Cayman S

If the vehicle cannot return to run position after start or if the interior fan is not getting power, it may be the electrical portion of the ignition switch has become erratic or has failed. The entire switch assembly should be replaced.

Worked fine all day...came home for lunch, hop in the car...key wouldn't turn or if it did if felt really bad...tried spare key...nothing...car wouldn't start! Yikes! Talk about the possibility of getting stranded in a bad way! R Keeley
