so my 2003 Jetta wouldn't start. I have had everything checked out, and this is what happens. If i open and shut the drivers door it will randomly start. it is definitely the wires that run in the crease of the door to the rest of the car. The question is how much will it cost to replace, i might just have to keep jiggling and open and shut the door method.

If you are sure the no start is related to the door you can easily peel open the accordion like sleeve the wires are contained in an examine them one by one. Incidentally you can completely unplug the door harness at the body and the car will start. Consider the possibiliyu that slamming the door is jostling something.....

The heater will not switch off. I had someone look at it and it isn't the hose. Could it be an electrical problem?
