 Rookie

My 92 Ram has stopped shifting into overdrive and at the same time my speedometer and cruise control quit working. I'm thinking it is an electrical problem, because everything worked just fine before. I have checked the fuses and they seemed to be ok. Any ideas. I love my Ram pickups.

    I had the same problem. I changed the speed sensor sometimes called the distance sensor. I thought it had a speedometer cable but it don't it is electric. the sensor is a small fixture. it has an electrical plur in the back of it and the front has a connecting nut that holds it into the transmission. when installing do not over tighten the connecting nut it will break off.
