 Rookie

My battery is draining since I had my '95 jetta in the shop. They replaced the entire fusebox assembly, it was falling apart. I do notice that when the ignition is turned off that the digital numbers are still lit up on the odometer and I can see the amount of miles on it...I didn't notice before if this is sposed to stay on or what?

    the shop did not do something correctly. Take it back and NO this is not normal. Something in the ignition electrical circuits is not shutting off. Possibly the shop did not re-connect everything right or the fuse panel was not the correct one. I have seen both. Good Luck!
