electric windows wont go up or down on 1994 Ford Mustang

My electric windows wont go up and down, went to a shop...guy told me the body module needed replaced, cost from 600 to 1200 dollars !! I have the #s for the module, can you buy one used, is it a big job to replace it ?? Help !!!

Beware: There is NO module that controls the power windows in this car. I owned one of these cars new and had a motor regulator failure back in 1994, not that this particular fact means nothing for your vehicle necessarily now. There is a power window one touch module that allows you to lower the drivers window with a single touch of the button down. Have another shop take a look. I suspect a switch issue, motor issue, or regulator issue. Lean towards switch since they both don't work.
