electric windows sometimes willnot operate except from drivers side

    are you sure you're not bumping the window 'lock' button? On some cars only the driver can control the windows when they are locked. It could be the window switch on the other door is starting to fail if you're not hitting the lock button.

    I believe it is the master power window switch on the drivers door. Mine does the same thing. I got it to work for a short time by giving the door panel a good thump but it lasted a day or two. Replacing the switch is an easy fix and is less than a $100. Easy to replace on you own.
