Question: Electric harness

Dear Repair Pal
I Have a 205 Ml(6cyclinder) and installed a hitch and wirng harness...I thought I followed the installation of the harness per instructions,but only the running lights seem to work...is there a relay and fuse required to be installed for the other functions to work..such as turn indicators and break lights?

    you have two choices:
    (1) buy the hitch and wiring harness from MB dealer (kit)
    (2) have a professional hitch installer build one for you

    it's a lot more than a relay. you will be lucky if you did not damage the lighting module by trying to wire this directly.

    Dear Repar Pl
    I bought t he whole kit from Mercedes and all the systems work ...when I plug the 5prong male into the female adapter,only the running light portiion works
    on trailor

    you need to start over because you have installed something wrong somewhere. the MB kits have never been a problem.
