I have had the exact same problem and have seen others who have as well. yesterday I read a post on a different sight which said to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect. This worked for me and the doorlocks work again both from the lock/unlock switch as well as the buttons on the key. The post said that it resets the Body Control Module. The only side effect is that it resets your clock and radio station presets. Easy to reset though. Hope this works for you! -

Another site suggested removing the IOD fuse ( Front right in fuse box ). My understanding that removes power to the BCM. Worked fine - did not have to disconnect battery. I thought about having the BCM code updated as locking updates are stated in the flash bulletins but my local mechanic talked me out of it. I have only had one failure and he thought the risk was too high. I agreed. Thanks for your feedback. -

Update. I had the flash code updated for the BCC. No problems since. additional info. I had to replace the battery, may have been part of the problem. Battery did not show any signs of failure until a week or so after updating the BCC Flash. -
