Car owner beware. Best to take your car to a corporate repair shop such as AAMCO, MIdas and forth. Owner's name is Charles Romero. His mechanic installed the transmission plates backwards. Ruined the transmission. Car does not shift correctly and it still throws a code of 1744. Which is the Ford code for transmission slippage.
Had to call the police and officers on the scene were refused access to car in order to remove tags since car was do for smog and registration in December, 2014.
Shop had two weeks to rebuilt transmission. After two weeks, Charles Romero informed me his mechanic installed the plates backwards and car shifts only at 1st gear. Took another two weeks and I tested the car and it shifts 1st gear at 40mph at tack reading at 5. Very high speed. OBD I checked and still shows impending code of 1744.
His mechanic also broke the top radiator spout and engine mounts. He did not repair the transmission therefore no payment. However, did replaced the radiator at an extra expensive fee.
Complaint was filed with DMV Enforcement and Compliance. At the same time, Charles Romero of Efficientfix applied for Lien of vehicle.
Attorney General was notified and the Governor's office due to DMV approving Lien knowing full well Charles Romero of Efficientfix did not repair the car's transmission.
We will have an attorney about to sue Efficientfix until the DMV gets things right. Efficientfix cannot fix the transmission since they ruined the transmission.
