Duxler Tire & Car Care Center
I came to Duxler on a recommendation and liked their work. They under bid another smaller firm on the work needed on a used car and have done a number of small jobs for free. (Like jack hammering the 4 locking lug nuts on the spare when the previous didn't include the key.) However, with my girlfriend's car they are always attempting to sell her thousands of $$ worth of repairs the car does not needed. I highly trust their work, but don't go in without knowing exactly what you need or without the ability to say "No" to a smooth sales job.

Though this shop provides good customer service at the non-mechanical end of the business, beware you'll end up spending a lot more than you planned to. They provide rides to and from work, and their staff is very pleasant to deal with, but I'm sure unnecessary repairs were suggested (and made), which ended up being expensive. The car was newish (less than 20K miles), I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, and they recommended several repairs "for serious safety reasons", which of course scared me into having them done, and I ended up paying over $1000 when I started out expecting a bill under $50. Additionally, the repairs were $400+ over estimate. Seriously, how many serious safety issues could a new car have? In retrospect, I should've just gotten the oil change and tire rotation and taken the car elsewhere for a second opinion, but the shop had been highly recommended to me by longtime customers so I thought it would be okay. I'm never going there again.
