2005 Chrysler 300 Question: drove car about 50 miles and notice a smell and heat coming from left rear wheel

left rear wheel gets hot

    Most likely a brake caliper hanging up and keeping the brake applied. Depending on how hot it got, and it sounds like it got hot, we would recommend calipers, hoses, pads, and possibly rotors.

    Have the parking brake system checked as well. Possible binding cable. The park brk. shoes are BEHIND the rotors!!!
