drl resistors on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox

where do you find the drl resistors

It is located on the drivers side left front bumper support. On the Equinox you have to pull the left front corner of the inner wheel liner back enough to see it. There is a GM service bulletin regarding DRL's not working or the indicator on the instrument panel flashing 07-08-42-002a talking about it being cracked or corroded. Good Luck

Can you please tell me if the average non mechanic can locate and change the DRL resistor?

yes you very easy,jut google it and u tube shows exactly how,think th fixit sight will get you there,we replace ours,findin the par wasnt easy but we rlaced it,however it did not fix our problem still doing the same thing,told t check the relay we replaced that too and still a no go...
