Question: DRL not staying on all day

The DRL used to stay on night and day but since one blew out and was replaced it only stays on at night the high beam works but the DRL on the left side turns off at night.

    Daytime Runnings Lights(DRL) ARE JUST THAT. THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO WORK WITH REG.HEADLIGHTS HAVE A MECHANIC CHECK IT OUT. SOUNDS LIKE YOU STILL HAVE A BAD HEADLIGHT BULB(S). OR WIRE PROBLEM. MAKE SURE IT IS THE CORRECT BULBS.

    DRLs are the high beams with lower voltage supplied when reg lights not switched on. Poss faulty bulb or contact.Light sensor issue? Not sure if I'm understanding all of the phrasing of the way things are operating. Is there an 'AUTO' setting for the headlights?
