MasterIt sounds like your QX4 is unsafe to drive. It needs to be inspected as soon as possible. If it is 4WD the axle or bearing may be bad. If the noise only occurs on full lock (when the steering is fully cranked one way or the other) it could be a steering stop bushing which is inexpensive to replace.
