Question: Driver's side door won't open. Perhaps from theft attempt.

electric locking mechanism still works, door is unlocked.

    DID SOMEONE BREAK INTO CAR? WILL NOT OPEN FROM IN OR OUTSIDE OR BOTH?

    The possible break-in was unsucessful. Door latch handle makes no sound and no action inside and outside. Sorry, I wasn't expecting a reply so quick and I thought I would be notified if one came. Someone suggested that the unskilled use of a slim-jim can cause the door open thing to fail.

    Someone was correct, linkage rods knocked loose will have to pull door panel to fix.

    Sorry , I didn't see this 'til I'm sure it's to late. If the problem still hasn't been resolved (hopefully without a broken door panel) I'll check back and respond this time. Hi Bruce.

    OK. I'll check again. Thanks. I was going to take it somewhere soon and brace for the sticker shock.

    I'm still hoping for help on Oct.6.12 and will look again.
