The door handle on my Suby broke today. From what I can see, it looks like a mechanism inside pulls a lever, which opens the door. It looks like the part that holds the two parts of this lever has broken. I need an estimate for the part and for repair if it is not something that I can do myself -- I have a feeling that this is a job best left to the pros.

The door lack components or door handle are all only available from Subaru dealerships. The skill level to replace is not very technical any repair shop would be able to repair this for you. The driver's door interior panel will need to be remove to inspect what has actually broken. The labor will probably be 45 minutes to 1 hour to remove door panel and inspect. add .5 to replace part. Part price depends on what is broken but Subaru prices for these parts are reasonable.
