Drain Plug Gasket on 2011 Toyota Corolla

So far, I see most mechanic always change engine oil and filter, but I didnt pay attention w/ drain plug gasket. Does most mechanic know that he needs to change drain plug gasket as well? Or do I need to tell him? Anyone could refer me to reliable mechanic around Hollywood. thx ...

The proper procedure is to replace the drainplug gasket. I'd think a reputable shop would not want to have leaks and would replace the drainplug gasket. You shouldn't have to tell anybody. But ask next oil change just to be sure. Here's a directory link for you: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=90027&car_brand_names=Toyota
