Doors lock intermittently. I'm don't get ripped off, any solid recommendations? on 2004 GMC Yukon

I need a good mechanic, I'm tired of being burned by the dealership.

We're in Vallejo. Milt's Service Garage is the largest independent in Solano County for good reason, we fix it for a reasonable price. Call Adrian at (707)643-7548

Thanks Milt's I'll have to check you guys out. Do you have loaner cars if I need to leave my Truck for a few days?

Try changing your personal options for the door locks. There are several options when to have the doors lock or not at all when the vehicle is programmed. You will need your owners manual to do this. By changing the option having the doors not to lock at all will narrow your problem down. When this option is selected you are not sending a reference signal through the body control module which means that if it still happens you have a bad door switch on either the drivers side front or passenger side front.

Thanks, for the feedback. I did change the options several times, and when it starts to act up, I change them again and it usually brings it back for a little while. It seems to be working fine now but I'm sure it's going to happen again, just like before.
