Question: Door locks & interior lights

 Rookie

My tailgate door does not lock or unlock.
the remote keyless entry does not work,interior lights do not shut off,radio does not stay on after car is turned off,rear windshield wiper does not work. there is no indication that the tail gate window or dor is ajar, checked all fuses. Is there a common point between all of these items.
please advise.

    It sounds like there could be a problem with tail gate window or door ajar switch, or possibly one of the other door ajar switches. On these new vehicles the ajar switches are attached to the latch inside the doors. You may need the system diagnosed by a qualified technician to pinpoint which door is causing the problem.

    We have had to have the dealer fiddle with this problem a number of times. Historically it has happened about every 6 months although it has been some time now so maybe they fixed it for good.
