Whereas I'm not exactly familiar with the specific conversion company, most all door panels come off the same way.
The most important step - use care. Door panels can be fragile, especially ones that are 16 years old! Look first for screws - and remove them. Once all screws are out, obtain a trim tool (looks kind of like a fork at the end of a screwdriver handle) and gently pry at the bottom edge and around the side. Push pins secure the trim panel on at this point and will pop out.
Make sure your power switches bezel is removed and out of the way. Once all fasteners are off, gently lift up on the panel to get it over the sheet metal it rests on.
Take it slow...
You will find that the lock rod from your key cylinder is detached.
