You may need to try the dealer to see if any new handles are available. Also, some junk yards have access to a parts data base where they can look to see if any other yeads have the part.

If you still need to know, same thing happened to my 2000 Prizm. We just bought the part (brand new)off Parts Pro for $12.95 plus $8 flat rate shipping, arrived in less than week. Use instructions someone posted on Wiki Answers and replaced in about 15 mintues! Someone mentioned a dealer charging $55 for the part alone, can only imagine the labor they would charge.

I have a 1998 Chevy Prizm. The driver inside door handle broke and I had to let the window down to let myself out. However, the front and back door handles on each side are identical, and since I rarely have anyone riding in back, I simply switched the rear door handle to the front, and was eventually able to find the handles on line for really cheap. Oh yea, and it's really simple to remove the door handle, just need a phillips screw driver.

Is that all that's needed just a screwdriver? Do I have to remove the door cover?
