Door glass adjustment to correct various issues on Chrysler PT Cruiser

If the front door windows bind, become loose, or come off the window track, the problem may be fixed with a door glass adjustment. Window regulator replacement is not usually needed.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser 137,000 mi,
I have power windows on my car I powered the drivers front window down and cant get it to go back up. How much would it cost to fix this problem and where in my area is there someone open at 7:30 at night to help?
Passenger side front door window started binding. And then wouldn't go up or down. Went to local auto body shop. They took door panel off and while the window glass was on the track, plastic guides were ok it just wasn't right. They shifted the glass on the tracks and still sluggish. So they got out the equivalent of WD 40 (don't know what silicone spray they used on the cable and tracks) clean the old parts and voila! The window is moving and has a new breath of life. Just needed to be cleaned this time. PT is 2004 model so if it happens again we'll do the same thing to check it out ... May need new parts then. Cost quote $38 plus parts...paid $0. I send people to this body shop for lots of little fixes...mostly gals ...they are a mine of info. LJ
