My driver door does not pull closed any longer. I can hear an escaping air sound, but have not located leak as of yet. The other door and trunk work fine.

    This happened on my 2002 CL500, both left and right doors. It was the latch according to the MB dealer. The pump was working so hard it also failed. About $1000 per door, fortunately covered on the extended warranty.

    I have an 03' CL500, and the same happened to me. Come to find out my battery was dying. Changed the battery and the door was repaired immediately.
