The door ajar light may illuminate and chime during driving, even when the sliding door is closed. Often, this is caused by a faulty switch in the C-pillar; a revised switch is available.Google+

A week after we purchased this from a Chrysler dealer, there was a chime that continually kept making noise (no light however) for the door but all doors were closed. I thought it might have been the seat belt chime but all were buckled also and the seat belt light was never on. I have three kids and this van is already making me nervous.

Hit bumps or stop quickly and the lights flash, door ajar light, beeps, and automatic locks click over and over. Stop get out and really slam all the door and it usually solves the problem, but really annoying.

i spent hours and hours replacing computers and everything I could think of. Then I read somewhere to check the light switch in one of the doors. I didn't think it would be that, but sure enough, I found that the driver's door switch was bad. A quick run to the dealer and no more flashing lights or ringing chimes!! On something like this I wouldn't take a chance on a used one. They are not that expensive.

My interior lights won't come on when I open the driver's side front door. Same stuck switch.
