    Don Wilke at Subaru Plus has been the ONLY guy (and now a large and prosperous shop) to touch our Subarus for more than fifteen years. The quality of the work is surpassed only by Don's integrity as both a mechanic and a businessman. Now that they are qualified to provide repairs and service for essentially all of the Japanese and American makes, I feel confident that we'll be returning to SubaruPlus for a very long time.

    Our experience with Subaruplus began with a "Welcome to the Area" oil change after we moved to the area. My wife brought our vehicle in for the oil change and a check up. She did not feel pressured nor talked down to.

    A while later I developed a rocker arm/valve problem. Subaruplus did the work and the car ran great, until I developed a similar type problem on another valve. They took the car in and repaired/pm'd all the remaining valves as well. Even the though the repairs did run a couple of dollars, it was cheaper than a new engine. The day after I got the car back, on a run to work ~37miles, I lost power along the way, I was able to park in a safe spot and get a call into Subaruplus. They arranged for a tow, fixed the problem (loose wire from the repair) replaced the battery, then washed and delivered the car to my place of work.

    Throughout this whole "ordeal" the owner/staff were all very professional and courteous. I feel they went "above and beyond" to ensure our satisfaction. I feel confident in not only their work, but also their dedication to but also in their honesty regarding diagnosis and repair. More importantly, my wife feels very confident that she is getting a fair shake when dropping off or picking up our vehicle.

    Based on my experiences with Subaruplus, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them in the future.

    Subaru Plus has been servicing our route vehicles for several years. Some of these cars log 3000-4000 miles a month and one of our Subarus has over 350,000 miles. Don and his crew play a big role in keeping our cars dependable. Tim and Warren have always been able to accommodate our schedule, otfen times fitting in an oil change on short notice.     Don has taken care of all our cars for the past 15 years and has ALWAYS done a wonderful job. Recently our '97 Dodge diesel truck showed all the signs of needing a new transmission. We took it to Don and he took a look at the transmission and said it looked fine and started troubleshooting. He kept working on it until he found the problem (bad wire connections) and fixed the problem saving us thousands of dollars. Even though we live in Sacramento, it is well worth the drive to get honest, quality repair. The few dollars extra I spend in gas to get there is more than made up for in the honest, dependable repair. I can't say enough about the great, honest service you will get at SubaruPlus.

    We have been taking our two cars to Subaruplus for years. We really wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else. Tim and Don are are good at diagnosing problems and the mechanics are amazing. I believe that we have experienced so few repairs because the shop does a good job at maintaining our cars. Thanks for such great service!

    After our local GM Dealership closed we were recommended Subaru Plus by my wife's co-workers. We took both vehicles for general maintenance and were very satisfied. When my 2003 S10 started running rough and the check engine light came on I took it back to Subaru Plus to diagnose the problem.Tim checked the code and found the #3 cylinder to be misfiring. They performed a general tone-up. The truck still ran rough and injector cleaner was added to the fuel tank. When the truck again showed a code which called a misfire in cylinder #5 Tim and Don felt that the injectors needed to be replaced. This also did not solve the problem and there was still a code. Don went back and checked everything over again and found that the new spark plug installed in cylinder#5 was defective. After replacing this plug the code was gone and the truck ran great. When I arrived to pick up my truck Don showed me the defective plug and told me this was what was causing the engine to run rough. He also told me that since the injectors were not the problem there was no charge for them. I feel this was very honorable it would have been very easy to just have said the truck is fixed now pay.It is so very nice to have such a fair and honest repair shop in our area and I will use them for all needed maintenance and repairs.

    We've been regular customers at Subaru Plus for many years. Not that my Forester has needed much, but since it's a 2002, we've wanted to keep up on maintenance and repairs. At some point, it needed a new head gasket and it was replaced with all the extras necessary.

    Recently, we've had an overheating problem we thought was simple, so took the car to a closer shop. They couldn't identify the problem and recommended Subaru Plus, as being experts.
    Back at Don's they quickly diagnosed a problem with the head gasket, knowing it was only 2 years ago we had it replaced. We agreed to the work but worried what the cost might be.

    No need! Tim assured us the work was still under the warranty, 2 years later, at no cost to us!
    We highly recommend Subaru Plus and give all the guys there high marks for being professional, friendly, helpful and HONEST.
    We're lucky to know we have a local expert who also looks out for the customer -- Glad to be counted as more-than-satisfied customers!!

    If I didn't live here, I'd have to drive here to have these professionals service my car. I don't know of a more competent, reliable and accommodating car service business.

    I've been involved in vehicle maintenance most of my long life. I've worked as a mechanic. I'm a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). I've written and published Chilton auto repair manuals. I've published magazines related to auto maintenance and that business. I've worked with committees of National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) developing tests and policies for technician certification.

    When I say these guys do a great job, I know what I'm talking about! They've been my pit stop for four years now. Make it yours.

    If you don’t know much about cars and want a shop that will tell you the truth and stand behind their work, then read on. About 14-15 months ago I had some work done that required removing the motor. Not being a gear head I keep this real simple. While the motor was out a timing belt was replaced and some gaskets that are of dire importance to the life of the motor. Head gasket I think is the term. As you can imagine “time consuming” making this job expensive. Fortunately my car had a good warranty and a lot was covered. Over the course of the next 9 to 12 months I was having trouble with a coolant smell and a mystery over heat (Mild) issue. Subaru Plus was very good about looking into it for me and even though it was very hard to determine why, we worked together to find a solution. I was very satisfied and felt good about their repairs. THE FOLLOWING IS WHY I TELL THIS STORY…….This last Friday I took my car in for an oil change, no big deal. A couple of hours go by an I get a call from the shop informing me that they found oil in the radiator indicating to them my head gasket is blown. At first I didn’t understand the severity and had to be told driving the car under these conditions is as bad as it gets. You’re thinking exactly what I was thinking…”I just wanted the oil changed, what happen?” As I began to think of cost and what happen, Tim says to me. “Bill, even though you’re past 12 months we have good history on looking after your car and I’m sure Don (The Owner) will take care of you. We’ve been trying to find this problem all along.” So what will this cost me? NOTHING…that’s what I trying to tell you. That’s the integrity of SUBARU PLUS. They could have just changed the oil and let me drive away unaware. No, they stepped up and warranted a repair they didn’t need too, but did. SUBARU PLUS has a customer for life as well as free advertising praising there honesty and moral character. 5 ***** stars to all the guys at SUBARU PLUS.

    I've been bringing my vehicles in to Subaru Plus for years, and I can say "do whatever it needs" without worrying about any unnecessary work being done to pad the bill. Excellent mechanics and a delightful owner, who really knows his stuff. I recommend Subaru Plus to all my friends, who have all experienced the same excellent service.

    Subaruplus does excellent work. My husband and I can totally trust the people there to give us an honest evaluation of our car problems and an accurate estimate of the cost and the time it will take to fix it. The other great part about their shop is that they stand behind their work. If we have any problems after the work is done, they take responsibility for it and do whatever is necessary to get us back on the road. We have 4 vehicles (Chevrolet, Pontiac, Toyota and Subaru) and get regular services done on all of them. If we need a ride somewhere, they try to accomodate us to the best of their ability. We completely recommend this shop to anyone with any make of car.

    I give Don and his employees 5 stars only because they have earned them. I don't make a testimonial out of fun or friendship. The work has to be 100+ and the pricing fair. That is what you get when you take your car to Subaru Plus. Others promise, but SP keeps theirs. You cannot go wrong with SP.

    I cannot say enough about Don and Subaru Plus. This is by far the best repair shop in this county and neighboring counties. I have taken my Camaro there twice, and both times the work has been completed on time and within the estimated amount. Customer service is the best; these guys rock!

    I like this shop because they do not talk down to me as a woman, but make me feel welcome and understood. I always receive quick, pleasant service. Although they are not the cheapest shop around, I believe I get quality work and efficient service. It's always clean there too! And all the guys are ready to help you.
