2003 Honda Civic Hybrid Question: dome light doesn't work when front doors open and light reminder chime doesn't work

The dome light won't come on when front doors open and the light reminder chime doesn't work when the lights are left on after the engine is turned off and the door is opened. the dome light works when the rear doors are opened.

    All of these things are triggered by a door switch. I would start by checking the drivers door switch.

    Thanks! I discovered the switch had been pushed inside the jamb although the rubber cover was still in place.
