Question: doesn't start first try, sometimes takes 3 turns

What could cause this car to not start on the first time? It usually takes about 3 trys every time I get in the car, its been happening for about a month now the battery is only a couple months old and it just had an oil change and the fuel filter replaced last week.Also there are no warning or check engine lights on.

MasterHave the spark plugs ever been changed? My book shows replacement every 30,000 miles also have the air filter changed and you can find a shop here http://repairpal.com/directory?address=89122&car_brand_na... or check repair cost here http://repairpal.com/estimator?car_type_id=3419
