2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer Question: does the blower motor resistor work the rear HVAC

front blower motor works checked all fuses rear HVAC does not engage & center console rear control blinks ....???

    I would have the HVAC scanned, with the lights blinking, it should have a fault code for the issue, before trying to guess.

    engine light is not on for code .... the rear control AT center console blinks ...I have a code reader

    Wow; A lot of DIY'ers have a code reader and think it is the best thing in the world. A code reader will only read generic engine codes. The HVAC is not part of the engine so it will not read any thing else. There are several different modules that run their own components, in which the engine has nothing to do with. If you would like to read all the components on the vehicle, reinvest in a scanner that will, around a #1,000.00 will help you more. There is a resister for the rear A/C, but I doubt that will fix the issue at this point with the lights blinking on the console.
