I have a 2007 Solara, stays in garage, only 21,000 actual miles, and 2 cracks by the glove compartment. Had the first one fixed, but still slightly noticeable. Now all of a sudden, a 2nd one has popped up. This car gets wonderful attention, and certainly not abused
Does anyone out there know how to get Toyota to fix the cracks on the dashboards on 2007 Toyota Solara

This seems to be a common problem reported by many owners of cracks by glove box and head unit. The problem is so common that there are several vendors selling wood grain dash kits and dash carpet pads for as low as $37.99 from places like AutoAnything. I hope this helps, Jim CarMasters Automotive

I am having the same problem with my 07 Solara. It appears this is a very common problem with Toyotas and nothing has been done to solve the problem. I won't be buying another.

I have the same problem. my solara is in the garage. when I talked to Toyota, they first told me to get my windows tinted which I did, open the windows so hot air doesn't get trapped and then put a shade over the front window. I did all three and it still continues to crack. it look horrible! hopefully we can all figure out what to do with this major problem!
