The air filter accumulates dust and debris and should be replaced to protect the engine and maximize fuel economy. For optimal engine performance and longevity, replace every 1 year or 15,000 miles.
Over time the Cabin Filter(s) will accumulate dirt, pollen and debris which can leak in to the passenger compartment if left unchecked. They should be replaced every year or 15,000 miles.

What are the recommended schedule of maintenance? |

Took my truck in for 30K service. Rep said total would be $1270. I have a scheduled maintenance warranty and he said that it would only cover a Cat A, which is oil change and spark plugs. Would not cover the remainder, $870 for fluid changes, PVC valve etc, because live in area where might have excessive idling and stop and go traffic. Was not told this when I purchased the warranty. Is this correct? |

My wife took the truck in yesterday for a warranty repair. Last night she tells me they recommended that the transmission be flushed and the rear differential service be performed. First response was that they were crazy. Second response is that I'm ticked off. They implied that if she did not have the work perfiormed that it would void her warranty.
