there are no tsb's on this problem but i would think its a grounding problem and thats controlled by your bcm module or possibly your lighting module if this car has one im not sure.

O.K. thank you for your help, but what is a "bcm"? Is it any thing like an ecm (emission control modual) or pcm, or tcm? Can it be replaced or reprogramed. If this is such a well known problem then why hasn't Chrysler or the government done something about it. THER SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL!!!It also exists in the M300's, some trucks and in some Chargers. Funny, a country full of "CERTIFIED" mechanics and not one can answer this simple question...WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THE FLASHING LIGHTS AND WHATS IT TAKE TO FIX IT? I'm not a rocket scientist but I was not born last night. I know and lots of people say it can be fixed and it must be fixed a.s.a.p. but no one seems to be able to give me a REAL or SOLID ANSWER.I'm sick of the "I think it's this" or the "it could be's or possibly's" Cant anyone put their money where their mouth is and answer a stinkng question Thanks for yet another "I think it could be answer, I'm now up to about 150 like yours and not one " THIS IS THE PROBLEM AND HERE IS HOW TO FIX IT" W.T.F.

BCM IS BODY CONTROL MODULE AND YES IT CAN BE REPLACED OR REPROGRAMMED. BUT IF THERE IS AN INTERNAL PROBLEM LIKE A SHORT IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THEY COME BLANK SO IT DOES NEED TO BE PROGRAMMED AFTER YOU INSTALL IT.

Has your flickering light problem been solved yet? No other response from you since your rant on feb. 7th. jus curious... could you be more detailed in your meaning of "flickering" that can be percieved many different ways if ones not there in person to witness it.In other words ...do they dim , go off completely(like a strobe), happens over bumps , in colder weather , when it rains??? you bitched about the "techs" a lot but , really did not give a very clear description of an actual problem. So anyhow , with that said ..... Have you driven a ford lately?
