A squeak type noise may be noted form the rear suspension. This may be caused by interference between the parking brake cable clamp  screw head and the rear cross-member. Our technicians tell us the cross-member should be re-centered using a special procedure to correct this concern.

A whine type noise may develop from the power steering pump. Our technicians tell us a revised pump and powertrain control module (PCM) software update are available to correct this concern. Additional, an updated power steering reservoir is available for some models.

An engine overheating condition may develop due to a coolant flow issue. Our technicians tell us that debris may block the cylinder head coolant port at the primary thermostat housing. Removing the debris should correct this concern.

Dampness inside the vehicle may be the result of a water leak, most commonly caused by improperly sealed body seams. Once the source of the leak has been determined the affected area should be properly sealed.

The remote keyless entry system may not work intermittently. Our technicians suggest upgrading the software in the wireless ignition node (WIN) to correct this concern.

A pulsation may be felt in the brake pedal or steering wheel on brake application. This is commonly caused by warped brake rotors. The front rotors are commonly at fault but the rears should be checked also. Warped rotors will need to be re-machined or replaced to correct this concern.

On vehicles equipped with V6 engines, the Check Engine Light may illuminate and code P0339 is stored for intermittent loss of the crankshaft position sensor signal. Our technicians tell us that adding a shim to the crankshaft sensor will commonly correct this issue but in some cases the flex plate may require replacement.
