1998 Ford Taurus Question: Do i need to remove the interior door panel in order to repair the side mirror?

Actually, the mirror is still attached and the power control button works. The pins that holds the whole mirror on are what are broken.

    POSS EVERY CAR IS DIFFERENT THESE DAYS.ALL DATA IS NOT CLEAR ON THAT SO TO BE SAFE REMOVE DOOR PANEL AND LOOK FOR 3 NUTS
