Question: do I need to change the the line between clutch cylinder and slave valve ?

Question

Visitor, 2.3L 4 Cylinder, Picayune, MS, April 10, 2010, 18:54

I installed a new clutch cylinder and slave valve but couldnot find any fluid on the line and no fluid is leaking, but I can`t build up any pressure, even if I didn`t bleed it right, shouldn`t I have some kind of pressure? is there anyway to test it. I don`t look forward to doing the whole thing over. Thanking everyone in advance.

the master cylinder is at an odd angle, but there is a magic way to bleed it. Go into the cab, undo the linking rod connected to the master cylinder underneath the dash, and you will see a tiny little c clamp, undo it, have a partner crack the top of the clutch fluid resevoir until it starts to overflow, and that is an instant and very effective fix, then bleed accordingly from below when the transmission is put back in.

    Cheers
