Question: do i have to remove anything to get the starter out of the car

not much space and was wondering if i have to take out the aie filter unit

    it is tight to get it out. in some cases, the crank sensor has to be removed. yes, the air filter assembly has to come out.

    i agree a few minutes to remove is better than broken parts or knuckles
