do i have heat control valve in my 1996 dodge truck and where is it . on 1996 Dodge Ram 1500

will not blow hot air , just warm , new radiator , new stat , have flushed heater core ,is there any outside controls , besides the air duct doors , that i can check before the dash comes out , dont want to tear apart unless half to.

I have the same problem with my 96 Ram and according to the Chilton repair book there is a heater control valve but I'm still trying to find it. It doesn't appear to be under the hood but the directions to replace it are very basic, drain radiator below valve, remove water hoses and vacuum lines but no picture of where it is. I've slowly lost heat so I'm "assuming" a loose vacuum line, if I could find it.
