distributor on 1991 Toyota Celica

My technician said the distributor need replacement since there is no electric coming from the distributor,he said,any other problem aside from distributor?we have replaced the ignition coil and the problem still remain.

Make him stand by his diagnosis, meaning, if the distributor does not fix your car, you do NOT pay. That is the way I work in the shop.

No diagnostic codes displayed. Timing belt was changed approx. 10000 miles ago. replaced distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires.
