Changed the distribtir cap and rotor on a 1972 BMW Bavaria and not won't run. Where is #1 cylinder on the cap?

MasterAccording to a repair guide the Distributor rotation is Clock-wise and Firing Order should be 1-5-3-6-2-4. See this picture; http://bit.ly/info/BMW-Bavaria-firing-order
