does the ac system need to be dsicharged and unbolted when replacing the radiator on a 2001 volvo s60 non turbo 5 cy?

    It doesn't need to be if you unbolt the condenser from the radiator and remove the radiator only, but I've replaced many of these and it is a lot easier if you remove the condenser and the radiator as one unit, which means you need to evacuate and recharge the A/C system.
