When I first start car up digital climate control reflect correct temperture outside, 85-90's,AC blows cold air but after about 5 min driving, turn off engine and restart engine the climate control changes outside temp to 21 or lower and AC starts blowing hot air. AC went out and replaced with new one, still blowed hot air if climate control reflect outside temp as being 33 or lower. fan clutch replaced today. When I started car up again outside temp correct and AC blowing cold air the climate control changed outside temp to 21 and AC started to blow hot air. What is causing this to happen.

I think you have electrical problems in the control system. Get it checked by a GM specialist. If you want to find a specialist, here's our directory link for you: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=47586&car_brand_names=GMC

The temp sensor is located in a factory drilled hole on the front top of upper radiator support. When I had this problem the sensor had fallen out and I'm assuming airflow pushed sensor around to the engine side of radiator. Read good when 1st started, but soon got much higher temp readings then should be from warm air flowing through radaitor .. 2min repair after i finally found sensor ...

Omg thank you when I got update in my email I had forgot all about this site an asking the question cause I have taken it back in and it still isnt fixed!! Now the defrost blower when on high is blowing on the lowest setting the back blower system works on high and low...I had fuses checked under hood in the system box up by windshield do you think this sensor could also be the problem or is there another fuse I'm not finding? Would the fan motor need replaced even tho it is still working just one setting?
