Question: Difficult starting

Car runs fine once it starts, but it is difficult to start. I have replaced the fuel pump and the fuel filter/pressure regulator. Any ideas on what is causing the problem?

    If the check engine light is on I would start with that. If the light is off check the crank sensor. We see a lot of problem with the crank sensor and no check engine light. Good luck

    The check engine light is not on. Is there some way to check the crank sensor?

    You need a lab scope, or you can try to replace it with a known good sensor
