Question: Differentail Electronic Module

My mechanic says the soulution to the AntiSkid light on the dash is to replace the DEM for a price of +_$2700. The car has 56k miles and otherwise runs well. Is this the solution?

    Can you provide the codes they pulled from the DEM and the reasoning why they say it needs to be replaced?

    i have same problem
    got codes p188914 and p188974 under dem
    was tinking it its the module as well
    any ideas?
