dies while driving and is accelerating when stopped. on 1994 Mercury Villager

The problem occurs while driving down the road. I don't know the diagnostic code. it will take several times to get it started.we think it is either the distibutor shaft or the fuel injector is still clogged from cleaning.

This vehicle is notorious for an extended crank time starting the vehicle. This is due to a defective check valve in the fuel pump. Replacing the fuel pump will solve that issue. Verify that this is the case by doing a fuel pressure test, and a bleed down test You'll find that fuel continues to bleed down.
