can anyone tell me where the diagnostic code reader plug is at for a 1995 mercury mystique so i can plug in a code reader? i looked under the dash on the driver side and didn`t see it. thanks for help

If your car is an early 1995 , then the diagnostic plug is located under the hood ,, this is an obd1 ,, there will not be a plug under the dash whitch is an obd2 system...

It is just under the left- upper corner of the hood, probably tucked in under the fairing of the body. It should have a black plastic cover over it

Your car is a 1995 a regular OBD2 wont work on this your gonna have to get a special scantool for this vehicle there's 1 connector is on the engine bay on the left side opposite of driver side
