The Cruise Control and Speedometer May Fail Due to Speed Sensor Issues on Plymouth Breeze

Problem Description and Possible Solution

Defective speed sensors on the transmission can cause problems with the cruise control and speedometer operation, as well as erratic shifting. The connectors on the sensors can corrode and/or the connector terminals can spread (poor connection), which will create similar symptoms. Any of these problems can cause Check Engine Light illumination.

Cruise control quit working
Try to set cruise and it wont set. Cruise light will go off when trying to set. If you shut car off and start again it will reset. Try all over again but never can get the cruise set.
doesnt shift well has problems getting up to speed and going up hills
Cruise control sucks, freaks out all the time, goes +/-10 mile per hour than the one you set on.
