My 2004 Mazda 3 [which I love] now has 222,000 miles. But for as long as I can remember ,maybe around 100,000 it started vibrating badly at 55 mph. Then when idling in gear it rattles and vibrates until I put it in neutral. Then it stops completely. As long as it's in neutral. So what do I do..
There is a large clunking noise when I start up and drive my car.

Feeling vibration at feet and slightly on the steering wheel. Had the car at the dealership 3 times before they replaced right motor mount. Unfortunately I can still feel it. I am taking it to another Mazda dealership for their inspection.

The Engine makes a weird sound as if something has gone loose, Got it checked at the dealership. They ascertained it to be the mount problem, took in the car for couple of hours and it was fixed. My car is a Manual Skyactiv transmission and the sound used to come when the engine was loaded at gear 1 and 2 after that it went away, sometimes the sound was there at low rpm too

Vibration was so intense on passenger side while idling, I had to shut off the car while at stoplights, and there were a difference in engine performance. When shifting through the gears, every time I hit neutral the vibration came through the passenger side as well. There was a previous smaller vibration since I bought the car at 47,000.
My 2015 MAZDA3 iTOURING was brought in for service 2 days after purchase. I had to break suddenly on an interstate i95 and the car shuck so bad and the break pedal bounced in my foot while braking. After that any time I had to break over 40mph that's what it would do. They said one rotor was corroded and caused the abrupt shaking. Driving home from the dealership, did the same thing! Called and brought the car back the following day. Now they had to replace all 4 rotors? Then the clunking sound in the front end when entering a driveway, or leaving front end first. Clunk over speed bump as well. Fixed the "Service Bulletin" problem which I'm sure was the strut? Now the thump and clunk is back. My vehicle does vibrate over 50mph. You can see the vibration in my side mirror and when my sun visors are down. My Mazda has 3400 miles on it. Somewhat disappointed ...TC

same issue, engine mount defective #1 mount needed to be replaced. new models have modified mounts thsat absorb the vibration better, this vehicle is a skyactiv and the engine got a lot of trottling poiwer and shakes like crazy when idle
