The battery runs down over night. Had the battery checked out at two different shops and it is a hot battery. I noticed that as I was disconnecting and reconnecting the neg. cable there is a small spark there. Is there something still on that may be running the battery down?

It's possible something is on and draining the battery. There are many things that can do this, it will need to be checked to isolate the source of the drain. I suggest you take this to a shop and have them perform a "parasitic battery drain" test. http://repairpal.com/arizona-auto-repair
