GMC Sierra 2500 HD Daytime Running Lights Are Prone to Burning Out
The daytime running lights are prone to burning out. Our technicians tell us that the light sockets may show signs of heat damage but usually are OK. Always be sure to use the correct replacement bulb for the best life expectancy. The new bulb recommendation for 2001-2003 models is #4114K (trade number).
My DLRs do not work. I have changed bulbs, fuses, checked relay. LIke others I found the sockets a little burned. I have turned the ignition on and took in out of park during the day. Still not lights. It is like there is no power going to the socket. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to fix this? - Visitor
