Did you get this checked out? If so, what was the problem?

got the same problem on my 2004 aveo. Daylight runs randomly. had all bulbs changed, optics resealed, relay changed, switch changed, fuse box changed and new fuses. cost me more than $500 and still not working.....
    any solution?

culprit could be the switch on hand brake it could be loose.

zero cost if you do it yourself, good luck

ouch! You have to get both headlights replaced, and they have to be specifically made for the Chevrolet 2004 Aveo. I got that done 2 years ago when the regular night headlights went out (one headlight did on the night side of it, not the dayrunning lights). So it will cost you between $60-70.00 per headlight, but you will have to get both of them replaced. You can get them replaced at a gas station or your local dealership. Do not get them replaced yourself.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Went to replace the halogen bulbs on my 09 Aveo and found that the electrical connector had burned and melted. Whose idea was it to specify heat-sensitive plastic next to a halogen (really hot) bulb?

That is what happened to my car about 2 years ago. You have to get special headlights specifically made for this car. I had to get that for mine and it cost me between $60-$70.00 per headlight, and you have to get both headlights replaced. You can have this done at your local gas station or local mechanic, but preferably your local gas station.
