Question: dashboard lights not working

 Rookie

One night went out to my truck, it was raining, after i started vehicle, I heard a noise like a fuse blew out. I had no dashboard lights. Next day, everything was fine. Lately at night, i have no dashboard lights. What could be the problem?

  You could have an issue with water intrusion in the GEM module causing electrical issues (the rain influence showing up here). You could have an issue with the headlight switch - it could be overheating and cause wiring issues. These are a couple of places to start focusing on. Good luck.
